Just throwing some ideas out... there are not a lot places around Ft. Desoto to eat that would have enough parking. We could go out towards the beaches, but there are a lot of traffic lights and parking is still tight this time of year.

One plan is after the Fort, we could go to downtown St. Pete. There was a parking lot next to the Albert Whitted Airport and the new museum that was empty Mother's day when I was down there. The lot is on the waterfront, but it about a 10 min. walk to the "downtown" business'.

Another plan is: we go north on the interstate, exit and go over the Bayside Bridge? On SR60/Drew St. area (Clearwater) there is a Hooters (SR60) or a Tilted Kilt (on Drew which has a whole shopping center to park in). They are also replacing a Bennigans on SR60 with a new Wing House but I don't know if they will be open yet. After food/drinks folks could split EB over the Courtney Campbell Causeway or NB/SB on US19.

SR60 havent heard that in a long time lol. I was thinking either a picnic so we are there for some time. That way for the people doing the shoots i have some time to work. Depending on the amount of cars that show, a group photo would be nice too. As after going back to the tampa area sounds fine to me. roaring though down town would be fun lol.

I think we need to get a final head count. Camarocrazy has already volunteered to bring hot dogs and buns for the picnic. I'm in.

i live on st.pete beach and its slow during the summer we could eat out there and im only 16 is it ok if i come

So the official date is June 26th? That sounds good I can most likely make it, may have to bring my youngins with me. If we are deciding on a picnic at the Fort I can bring some food/drinks along. Hopefully I will have the new wheels and spoiler done for the photo shoot by then!!

dang the 26th? ill be back in orlando for school. which way is desoto? should i just come back to town that weekend or is orlando on the way from tampa?

ft. desoto is at the very south end of pinellas county. so from o-town it would be a solid 2 1/2 hr drive for ya.
