Thanks everyone! I was at Hare this am and they said they're really looking forward to this and though the service dept. will close at 1pm, they're going to leave the bay open so in case it's real hot, we'll have a spot to come in and cool off. They will have beverages to keep us hydrated.

Any vendors aside from Mike Norris who want to show their wears, get ahold of me or more specifically Oldschoolcamaro so he can have your logo on the flier for the promotion. Thus far we have those mentioned and Mobil1 and SLP.

@ Showstoppers, are you in or out?
@ World Of Wheels, Let us know if you plan to attend.
@ BarticusRu, Got you down and added to the running count in post #1 and thanks for the support.

We're just trying to keep a good running head count for Hare.

@ Camaro_Corvette and destroyerofu2, I really love H@@ter's too! That was my first time going to one and I was pleasantly surprised!!!!! ;-)

Wow the numbers keep growing 26 or so days to go, and I say we go from 25 to over 50 people

I hear ya Mlitemn. I'm hoping we can bust this thing and knock it out the park. The numbers are looking good and having spoken with Hare this morning, Chris said we can potentially make this as big as we want in the future and maybe even coincide it with an event out at IMS like the other events they have for Opening Day and day before the race. Our conversation was more like maybe the Brickyard next year when we know even more people will be here for that anyway. Something to think about as we move forward.
Sounds like there could be some nice perks for those who come but bottom line as I've said before, it's about the fellowship.
We'll have a bunch of fun, make the cruise to H@@ter'swith all the cars looking good and taking over their facility. I think it's going to be real nice and with it not getting dark until around 9:30-9:45p, we'll have plenty of light to just party. I'm trying to figure how to get my corn hole boards to the event so those who want to play, can. We'll figure it out one way or another.

Pass the word to all your friends and of course even though I don't have either a spouse or significant other, they are also welcome!

So, if anyone has any questions, suggestions or offerings, hit me up on a PM or get with OldSchoolCamaro. This is really my first venture in something of this magnitude and I'm hoping to do it right and to everyone's liking.

Well all righty then. We'll put them down on the list. I wasn't quite sure with the response but I'll take it that Showstoppers is in.

Thanks!

I'll try to make it. I put up a thread on the CICC board and we're working on getting something up on the CICC main page. Maybe the daily weather thrashings will stop by then!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would have got on this sooner, but have been down with Satan's virus from Hell for almost a week. Thank goodness for antibiotics!

Glad to hear you're better and getting onboard with this. Should be a great time and thanks!

Also when down or under the weather, get yourself some Buckley's. It works!!!!!!! If you can't find it at your local Walgreen, Wally World or other drug store, you can order it on the Internet. Check the videos on YouTube.com for it. Like I said, it works.

I'm going to blow off the concert because this is coming together so well and I don't want to miss it. So, put me down as coming.

It will be good seeing you and your wife again. Looks like you would have time to get to the concert afterward if you guys wanted too. My better half will definetly be at this one too.

Where the heck is Dirt Track Fan? I don't think he has responded?
Hope Les and Cheril can make it!

I thought Dirt Track Fan told me in a PM that he would be out of town but might be back close to stopping by. He may be going to a race or something. I've had so many PM's since this all started but he definitely wants to join us and if his schedule will permit, he'll come but didn't want to be counted as a affirmative at the moment. It's understandable.

Yeah Les and Cheryl are going to be at a dirt track race the only way they said it would work out if the track got rained out that Saturday so I would say no they won't cause we don't want any rain around here.

My wife will be there too and we're looking forward to meeting your wife. Me and Les were the only ones to bring our wives to the Clinton meet, at least from our Indiana group, so I hope more significant others will attend this meet.

Danny, my new engine cover from Tim Layow shipped Sat. so I'm looking forward to showing it to you.
