Installed Stillen cross drilled\slotted rotors w\Hawk ceramics.
Car is a weekend cruiser not a track car, but the difference is worth the coin.

So what is the difference with those from the stock rotors? And you have the maggie correct?

Stock drivetrain and brakes and doing fine. I don't do the track though. I don't have a clutch either so I'm not dumping it at 4000 rpms. Some guys love their manuals but I have really learned to appreciate my automatic. With the extra HP it'll burn um just like the manuals but without dumping the clutch and busting parts. It shifts faster than I ever could and with the tap I can really play when I want.

I had an '02 Firehawk that was making ~400HP at the crank (LT's, HF Cats, Y-Pipe, 3.73's, Vig 2800, custom tune) and I can honestly say that I wasn't overly impressed with the performance of the stock SS that I drove. Fast forward a few months to when I took out the LS3 powered Callaway SC572 and all I can say is WOW, what a day and night difference!

I was hooked the second I floored it in 3rd doing about 60 KPH and got pushed back into the seat as the car took off.

That old saying may have to be changed to "there's no replacement for displacement + a blower".

I got my maggie installed at the beginning of the summer and its definitely noticeable. It drives just like a regular SS when you aren’t driving it aggressively. When you need the power, its ready to go and man it really moves. I am kinda aggressive with it and its really nice knowing if a mustang, SRT8, Vette, or whatever is out there…pulls up next to me, I will be seeing them in my rear view in a few seconds.

I also still have my stock SS tires and they do fine. If you hammer it off the line, they will definitely spin, but if you are good, you can balance it out and take off like a jet. Normal driving is not an issue at all. I also have mine at 8 psi and dyno’d at 560 RWHP

On the highway, I am actually getting closer to 27-28mpg with the maggie. Before installation, I was getting like 24-25ish.

Glad to hear the good reviews about the maggie and I'm thinking of running no more than 7psi unless I decide to do meth injection but since I don't plan on racing and it is a spring/summer DD for me so probably will skip the meth but like the idea of protecting the engine with the meth. Luckily I have some time to decide.

Thanks

Pretty much my experience in my car as well... Except, mine was installed in March/April time frame... Drives perfectly stock until you ask it for more.

What are you guys opinion on the Lingenfelter packages VS the packages that other shops offer as far as the priceing and what you get? I'm thinking of sending mine there for the 650 forged package in Dec.

Definitley a fabulous thread but nothing but praise!!

Can we get the negative comments out too? There's got to be some ... no?

Maybe replaced clutches, engines blown, anything?

I too have thought about it but just don't know for a DD that already has 50,000+ km on it that I want to last for another 200,000.

Who's got the most miles on a SC'd Camaro or GXP I wonder??
