Neither one for me... I honestly wasn't even looking until I saw the Camaro. I glanced at Challengers (I LOVE the way they look, hate the way they handle), but would have decided against it.

As for the Mustang, I've never been a huge fan. I like them just fine, but it's not for me.

Someone above posted "Why would anyone choose a Challenger over a 5.0?" Odds are, Ford may not have ever brought the 5.0 back if it wasn't for the Camaro. Challenger having 375HP may have helped, but I'd bet it was the numbers (sales and HP) on the Camaro that pushed them the hardest.

The new Challenger and maybe a '69 Shelby, but also a '72 Vette. We had a '67 Mustang and sold it years ago. Loved that car. I just love cars!

As a V6 Camaro owner, it's definitely the Mustang. The Challenger looks great styling-wise, but its hefty weight, the 4 speed automatic transmission and lack of horsepower are just too much to get over. The mpg is relatively sickly, too. And that's for last year's models, too - this year, with the new engines and blazing Mustang V6 performance, the choice is even easier to make. I prefer the Mustang's interior, too.

Of course the Challenger loses in performance at every trim level to both the Mustang and Camaro - even when the new SRT comes out, it'll only move up to compete with (and likely lose to) both the new Z28 and GT500. Looks aside the Challenger was never something I seriously considered - I would have gotten a Civic Si coupe before a Challenger SE.

If there were no 5th Gen Camaro I probably would have got the Mustang. I would rather have the Challenger but its outside of my price range.

I made the horrible mistake in 2007 of buying a Dodge Charger. Damn it GM! Its a lemon and I regret ever purchasing this hunk of junk! Hopefully in December 2010 I'll be ordering my CAMARO!!!
