fyi....when you bolt the can to the angle use 3 or 4 stainless washers on each bolt as standoffs between the can and the angle.
Now that you mentioned what you did, I can see it. The stacked washers is a good tip. Nice work.

I really appreciate the info and great idea on the location of the can!

Same can but when ordering specify L99 or LS3, so you get the right length hoses.

I've got my Elite Engineering catch can installed and it's working great! Now I'm looking into a cold air intake. If I buy the VaraRam (thanks IndeedSS1 ) then I will have to move it to the driver's side. I know this sounds dumb but the one's that I've seen installed on that side look like the hoses go to different locations than mine. Am I wrong or is there something everyone is doing that I'm missing?

Yes you will have to move it to the drivers side. I finally have a bracket made that I like, 6 ft of hose, and now just need to get it installed. You've seen pictures of the L99 install and yes the hoses connect differently.

I only want to mess with the hoses behind the throttle body one time so I'm not in a hurry to do it, until I think I have it all worked out. The bracket took me long enough and it wasn't rocket science. lol

I'll take a picture of the bracket in a little bit.

I used a 1/8 x 1/2 aluminum flat bar and 1/16 x 1 1/4 L bar. As you can see in the picture the bracket, when assembled, is tilted. However the is to make the catch can level when installed on the airbox bracket. The stock airbox tilts slightly down toward the engine. When mounted with this bracket the can sits level. I took a couple of pictures with it maounted by the batteries were going an they looked fuzzy. I need to hit the aluminum with a flapper wheel and some Blue Magic to put a shine on it. Here's a couple of the bracket to hold you over.

Wow, I just eyeballed my catch can for level. A nice polish would look good with your fittings. Toss up some installed pics when it's done.

lol, I drilled one hole, held the spacer in place, used a small level, and marked the second hole. I was amased at the pitch require to reach level. One thing about it, it's a fixed position. No messing with it again.

If I could paint without it looking like crap, I'd shoot it with black and let it disappear into the background.

fwiw, there were at least two other guys on here that did a similar setup before I started mine. There setups inspired me. Thanks to them I should ahve my catch can reinstalled soon.

Yes it's a daily driver that gets about 300 miles week put on it and thus why I'm making excesses for the dirty engine bay. I know the outlet hose could have been routed behind the stock fenderwell bracket. However, I know that a very small amount of oil finds it's way into the intake, despite the can. Because of this, I didn't want to pitch the outlet hose down where pooling could happen. There is a service splice in each line above the intake. I know it would be a cleaner install without, but don't care.
