Not to beat a dead horse, but I am assuming most of you guys swapping to a 454 are currently set up with LS3's.

I have a L99 with Kooks Stepped Headers and a CAI. If I do a 454 Swap, am I going to need a new torque converter, rear gears, rear end, stiffer rear suspension? Can the Auto tranny even handle it?!

Will my Kooks headers and CAI work?

I was initially under the impression that the stock intake manifold would bolt right on, but from doing some research, it needs the LS7 or the FAST intake manifold. Will the fuel rails from the stock still work?

I also read that it needs special headers.

I know its a lot of questions, but I know a dealer thats had one sitting on their show room floor for over a year, and the service director told me they'd sell it dirt cheap just to move it...
