Stop baiting people, either spill the beans on something about the Camaro, or just stop posting in general. Tell ya what guys, How about I have mmy friend register with the name "The Spy", get him to photoshop me in the plant with a smiley over my face and come here and comment about EVERYTHING else but information on the Car.
In my book your either a hoax from some other board getting these people worked up over your favorite Hockey team, or your just some random board surfer looking for friends. Either way, thanks for cluttering up Camaro5.com with no information on the Camaro.

First, Mole most certainly works in the plant; even Number6 ( ok, Super60 ) told him to be careful about what info he gives out here.

Second, how dare you chastise a guy that's only trying to help us out with the information he's allowed to give out? Shitty in my opinion. Do I wish he could give out all the information being asked? Of course. I understand why he can't.

Well, thats your opinion. But I don't know what you think of as trolling, but I don't see a whole lot of it in this thread. Furthermore, having everything in 1 thread makes things a whole lot easier for him to answer questions, rather than sorting through the 30-40 new threads that are made in 5th gen general every single day.

I just like the fact that The Mole started this thread in the 5th Gen Camaro Forum General Discussions and has over 150 post and what 10 of them has little if not nothing at all about the Camaro (Information wise). Hence why Ive said before that Others have gone above and beyond with news and leaks and this Mole guy has done nothing.

In my opinion the thread should be moved to Off -Topic Discussions, which clearly it has become all but news on the Camaro.

Dont get me wrong, I'm not trying to bust anybody's balls here. I'm just stating my opinion and I'm glad Ive gotten the chance to.


BTW Mole.... I'm wondering if you have seen any CGM Camaros At your favorite Hockey team game while sippin on your favoring alcoholic beverage in that nasty canadian weather your having?

Well, if he's answering questions, cool, sorting should be easier; thank you very much Mole....but he isn't. That's my point. Why should life be any easier for him when he offers about as much as any of us offer? Why the special privileges? If his persona is a goof and he wants to hang out/chill out and shoot the breeze with other members here, with nobody expecting anything from him, I'd be the first to raise him a beer.

Please don't empower people that have no power.

On the other hand, if it is easier for the mods and admins to sort, that is an entirely different story.

There are a few things I agree with what was stated but one thing I do not agree with is the remark about the nasty canadian weather. The reason it is nasty (at least today) is because of the nasty odor coming from this thread....

Ok so lets get down to the nitty gritty shell we .. I can confirm the Mole works in the plant , as do i . I have 26 yrs service and have been involved with the Camaro project for approx 2rs. I work in the body shop and do Metal repair and trouble shooting for the different depts that requrie me to fix or repair any metal related issues. I drive GM products and do my best to sell our products to anyone who will listen. I believe most if not all who visit this site are well informed on the Camaro as of this date. However for those who are not , lets cut to the chase.

The Camaro is being built in Oshawa , Ont
The Camaro is now going into its 6th week of production
The Camaro comes in a varity of colours and trim lines
The Camaro also offers a V6 and V8 engine
The Camaro offers an auto and std transmission
The Camaro is being shipped to different dealers around N.America
The Camaro plant is a one shift operation (days only)
The Camaro is built to exect spec's and quality requirements.

Next do we as employees see everyones Cars as they come down the line ? Answer - Yes we do as we work on each one as it goes by our stations. Can we tell if its your Camaro ! Answer -No Your car only has numbers attached to it and your name is not assigned to any paper work on the car.

At the end of the line your car is driven off the line and sent to a shipping area for either truck or rail transport. All of us here are ambassadors for GM and for those of us here in Oshawa the Camaro and Impala are very important products and we give 120% to make sure you get the very best products for your hard earned money.

There is not much else i can say other then we do exist here in the plant and we can only give out certain information , i just want everyone to understand that and enjoy the wee bit of info that can be released. Its not rocket science to figure out that company info is not to be given out to the general public.

So in closing.. WE CANNOT RELEASE PRODUCT INFO ! And all of your Camaros look fantastic , the MOLE is a real person, i'm a real person , some Camaro5 members have met me . i only wish i could have one in my driveway. Thanks for the post Super60. I'm not looking for any insider information here, and neither should anyone. When info can be posted it will be. We've been very fortunate in the amount of information thats been passed along to us and people should take a lighter view, kinda like no news is good news. I appreciate the fact that we can have interactions with people building our cars even if they are molesting them..... lol. Stick with us guys and keep us up to speed as best you can. When everyone has their cars they'll think about the people they've talked to here. The Camaro Team will be remembered!
