Thanks - If we have to track with CN we may be SOL. No automated phone #. They want you to register online and need to be a customer. I don't want to take any chance of messing things up for others

Read the TPW 8/10 thread (last 2 pages) - most of them are picking up their cars! Shouldn't be too much longer for you "early departed" that left already.. Hopefully.

Sooner you get yours, the sooner they can concentrate on getting mine shipped this wait sucks.

Too bad I gotta wait at LPE for the magic to happen as well. It's like a double dose of waiting for the car shipment...

Not that I'm aware. I've only ever called CSX and UP for statuses.

I am getting my updates from CXS even though it says its on the CN railway.
The thing that concerns me is they give no destination or ETA so I think I may loose my updates from CSX at some time.

I'm not exactly sure how their system works but I wouldn't look too much into it. When I first found out which car I was on, I called a few times the first day it pretty much gave me something different each time. Now it's telling me my ETA has moved out a week which doesn't make sense because ThunderSS and I have been on the same train since we left the plant and his ETA has stayed the same.

Mine is on the move again according to CSX on CN Railway with no ETA. But when I call UP they give me an eta at industry of 9/5. I'm assuming even though it is on CN it will at some point transfer to UP. At least its on the move after 24 hours.

It rode CSX Rail cars, but I think it was CN's Rail..

Just checked the system on both of our rail cars. we are in Omaha Texas,
which is abut 30 miles east of Mt. Pleasant.. Looks like we are heading t Arlington to drop off tgsavujr. then sit in that rail yard waiting for more rail cars to head to Houston tomorrow..

Ok, for those of you in Texas, I have been keeping track of crzycacida, tgsavujr, and my car since it left Oshawa on the 24th..
At this point and time it has made it to Texas.. not quite to my area yet, but close to tgsavujr.
Thought you 2 might like to see where it traveled on the way here..
Now this is an approximate travel route, as I missed some stops while sleeping, or I was away from the computer, and couldn't track it..

Hey !! ThunderSS... I'm in Texas too!! Just behind you guys & not goin' as far!! I've been trying all afternoon to track the route with Google & I come online to see what's gon' on here & BAM! You already have MY map mapped out for me!! THANKS MILLIONS!! That's way cool!!

I'm STILL trying to figure out the Union Pacific automated system... it will not reconize my 4 Initial Rail car #. Maybe once it actually transfers from CSX to UP it will, but as of now it won't. It keeps asking for an "Equipment" number. I'm NOT SURE I'm in the right automated system. I call the number provided for UP & follow the prompts. It asks what you want to do & the first option is "Trace". I ASSUME that is the option I want?? Oh well.... I'll figure it out soon enough. Glad you guys have made it to Texas!! I will maybe in a few days.

If today is the first time you've seen your railcar # on that list...I'd say NO!!! don't assume it's right. Wait til they get it sorted out... I just checked & it's still messed up. You MAY BE tracking the wrong car if you go with it.

Keep checking CSX.. You should swap over to UP in Salem Illinois.. which is just east of St.Louis. Once it goes through Salem then you can start checking with UP

Not sure.. I am hearing they are having problems with Camarotracking.com. You may have to wait until they fix it or trace the car it shows, and see if it is heading your way.
