I used to live in Champaign Illinois. There are large Amish communities in Arcola and Arthur, just South. It seems like every other Amish home has the last name Yoder on the mailbox. I had no idea that in addition to furniture, the Amish built motors for ERL ;-)

I'm sure trying. Lots of work. I signed up for the March Mile run and hoping we have the car ready.

Any expectations or just shake down runs for later in the year! A lot of work and money I am overly aware how that goes LOL!

We'll make shake down passes and see how it goes. If all is good we will continue pushing.

So, we made a few more advances.... The clutch is mounted to the motor, though we still don't have the Tilton Slave cylinder.... We had to do some measurements of the crankshaft tail and the trans to determine the spacer size. That should be cut by this evening and shipped out tomorrow... We are hoping to have it by the end of the week. The image of the slave cylinder below is only a representative image...

I got some more suspension stuff completed.. These are the new trailing arms from Lingenfelter Performance Engineering. The old webbed pieces from Pfadt served their purpose but were showing the stress of more power than they were probably designed to see. Some of the webbing pieces were stress bent... so, time to replace them... The pieces from Lingenfelter are fully adjustable and quite a bit heavier in design.... For the time being until the rest of the parts arrive, Brandi is sitting on her own shoes... so I can move her out from the lift a bit to do some interior work... As parts arrive, (dry sump, slave cylinder, etc) we will be putting her back in the air for fitting and installation....

The final cuts on the intake manifold bases are being made this week and we should have them by Friday...

I made a little bit more progress... The seat is fully installed with the exception of the tunnel side waist belt... It's solid... I apologize for only one pic per post, iPad posting...

This is the support for the upper back of the seat.. With the way it's mounted I can remove this seat and install the factory seats in about 15 minutes...

And last but not least, my custom spaced Tilton slave cylinder arrived... Sometime next week we'll probably drop the motor out and install this along with the dry sump components... When we go back in with the motor, it'll be without the motor mounts...
