I guess that because the Challenger all turned in high 13's stock..and mine ran 13.4 stock in 1750 foot DA..I'm not in the real world?

The fact is alot of Mustangs are running in the 12's bone stock right now

i didnt know the SS was cheaper than my 32900 2011 GT. my car feels spretty slow. glad you spoke out. you could have saved this entire thread.

instead we get camaro fanboy talk.

yes but mags give a baseline on cars performance, as much as they get ragged on the times posted in the car mags.. alot of guys go to the track and post worse times then they do. We all know certain people and certain tracks will yield better times however .. the times posted in the mags are truely stock cars and not custom tuned, cai etc. like some on the internet forums claiming stock runs.

and dont even go there on DA corrected times, you will soon have your challenger times in the 10`s

mags do give a decent baseline. But the real world results are that the Mustang is faster if both drivers are good. 2 average drivers and it becomes a drivers race. Theres no denying or circumventing the fact that equal HP and 250lbs less dead weight will account to at least a small advantage to the Mustang GT. We can argue about how big that actual advantage is, but reguardless, there is still an advantage there.

Ok then, I'll stand on my 1500+ foot 13.26 time (with just a CAI and nothing else) and still prove the magazines are crap.

thats crazy and shows Tanner cant launch a car very well. The Corvette is capable of a 3.3 0-60
