That unnamed 1964 white four door belonged to a teacher that lived down the street. It had not moved for months so I rode my bike down and asked if it might be for sale. She said it didn't run and she didn't know how to get rid of it. I figured the junk yard would take it off my hands for $25 so I offered her $25. I came back with a buddy and jumper cables. It wouldn't start. We pulled the air cleaner off to spray ether in the carb. Son of a gun. The choke cable had broken with the choke stuck shut. Opened the choke. Turned the key. Drove home.
