Managed to get down to 12:1 AFR at a 12 kHz MAF frequency which is roughly 655 g/second, 12 psi. Going to start removing my methanol injection a little at a time to see what the true AFR is but I'm spraying a small amount to begin with.

Torque Management also hurt me on the 1-2 shift, 0.5 seconds of timing in the negative numbers. But my 2-3 shift was a LOT faster, 0.2 seconds, I adjusted the TM tables a special way and it looks like it worked.

Car feels the way it should with these gears and pulley.
Are you still back on the stock pulley, or back on your "optional" one?

My 3.48" pulley, the stock pulley is too slow for me and I don't think I will upgrade to a 3.33" since that will be pushing the limits at 15 psi.

Where did you get the pulley and is install just swapping the old IPF one out?

Got the pulley off Summit Racing and it had to be modified to fit. It is in the IPF Pulley Upgrade thread.

I found the limitation as far as how long the injectors can stay open, 9.4 ms. It will start misfiring and the power will be down. Would not recommend doing a pulley swap unless you are running meth injection, the power isn't there unless you have knock suppression.

Powered up my safe injection module today and it opened up my bypass valve because it didn't see enough meth flow. Not working how I want but it showed that using a wastegate that redirects to the intake tube could work, my MAF frequency stayed at 11 kHz while being bypassed. Might be worth using a cheap one as a test, pop it at 12 psi while going to a lower pulley.

Got the car on jacks getting ready to fix the driver side header gasket when it warms up enough. It is allowing oxygen in at 1200-2400 RPM's, but none at WOT, so it is keeping that side richer than my passenger side for fuel trims.

Tune wise, car is running more consistent now that I have the fuel trims within 1%, before it was all over the place. I have 50% torque management right now but I changed the speed control terminate from torque based to immediate. That setting means that after a shift the engine timing would be ramped up on the torque based setting, while the immediate setting would add all the timing back right after the shift completed. That should remove that feeling of lagging after a shift I felt. Not going to mess with the line pressures unless I really need to. Will have to wait till I get to the track to see how it really performs though.

Once the weather warms up and I can actually get traction in 1st gear it will be wickedly fun. That one piece driveshaft helps so much, transfers power immediately.

Magnum, if you get any faster, you'll be trying for that 10th spot on Street Outlaws.

Not likely, those guys are extremely fast. In real life the races are over in 5 seconds, the show cuts to so many angles to keep it interesting.

I need to get my car in the low 11's to keep up with my wife's Mustang once she gets her ProCharger. They got into the 10's by using Methanol injection and turning up the boost, but don't know if my wife will want to do that.

Too bad the track is closed tonight, the DA is negative 2020. Temperature is 17 degrees, perfect for record breaking.

Track should be open this weekend, it will be available for Test and Tune on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. At least one of the days I'm going in my Camaro to see if I can hit the 11's. Yesterday the weather was warm and I did a good 60-100 MPH pull and the car felt good, but really won't be able to tell what kind of gains I had until I get to the track.

Good luck, a V6 Camaro in the 11's will blow people's mind out there!

I'll be there Friday night, in case you want to do some heads up racing just for fun.

edit: if it's dry enough, the snow is actually doing something now...

Thunder Valley is closed on Friday now, so I will be taking the Camaro on Saturday and possibly the Mustang on Sunday. Saturday the track is also doing a PSRA warm-up so I won't get many runs in but I only need a few to see if I need drag radials.

I'm taking my Mustang 5.0 since I need a good datalog on it for my tuner. I have a Boss 302 intake manifold on it now which screams at high RPM.

Not TOO bad considering this was the first time down the track with my own tunes. Thought I would leave the track by a tow truck but she held together. I got some important datalogs to review, but the 3-4 shift in sport mode is too fast, it actually slips out of gear each time causing the shift to take over 1 second, but in drive mode it is fine. I didn't get a chance to test it going in drive mode down the track since I ran out of methanol though. Bank 1 is running leaner than bank 2 at above idle, with my LTFT's at 0 and going WOT there is a 5% difference in AFR's. That will need to get fix before I go back to the track.

See if I can take it back in a few weeks, try to launch harder since I really wasn't flooring it until 4000 RPM's.
