For those who don't know, These are full speed, 40 MPH karts, unlike those go kart tracks at places like destination resorts and kings island and stuff... this is REAL racing. http://www.cincykarting.com/

I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)

How long do you get to drive the karts for that price? I might be interested in going.

I'm still bitter about getting one for 40 in a 25. Jason-- any baby news? Keeping fingers crossed you don't get a Vday baby. (Valentine's Day is total crap! Hate it!) Probably out for March 4 on go-karts. I've got a tentative appointment with my tat artist for tat #7 that day.

I'm not too sure how long it is as a group. I think 5 minutes; at least I saw groups running 5 minutes last time I was there. BUt if you go in to race, the races are 8 minutes. I was wore out after 8 minutes too but it was a blast. Got a membership to help reduce the cost, but doesn't help that much. I still have 2 races I haven't used yet

I believe it's 8 minutes which doesn't sound real long, but when you're going that fast in a little go kart it probably is and seems a lot longer than just 8 minutes.

8 minutes sounds short, but your ready for a break at the end of it... thats like 20 laps. It takes about 10 laps to get the learning curve, so by the end of it you had a blast and your ready for a break.
So while 8 minutes is plenty of track time, it makes for a short day, so Dave & Busters or one of the other places next door afterwards for everyone- even for those who opt to come and not run!

Go Carts sound fun, I'd be in depending on the day chosen.
Drew, I'd love to check out your MGW shifter sometime if you wouldn't mind.

It is pretty fun. Smooth concrete. Basically half the track is drifting. It's just over the bridge into indianna. I believe it's highway 64
