Good morning! It is still cold here. I think it was 26 when I got out this morning, but I hear the temps are going to get up to 62 this weekend. I so hope so!!! I am ready for Mississippi August hot and humid temperatures!! It has actually not rained in 4 days. I think it has set a record!! I got my baby out and drove her the last couple of days.

My baby is at the dealer getting new Struts...I just cant believe I have had to take this car in twice already for warranty work in only 4 months of ownership...btw there was a plane crash into the IRS building in austin texas...the guy set his house on fire with is wife or exwife and children still inside and then posted a manifesto on the internet and then around 9:45 - 10:00 crashed a small plane into the IRS building...

just got my car back from the dealer and they SCRATCHED MY RIM!!!! On the bright side the noise is gone!!! But dont worry they said they are gonna fix it and if i dont like the way it looks after they are done then they will take further action on the matter...

UPS man was here today!
Finally! My Hurst shifter & skip shift eliminator showed up this afternoon (ordered it 2 Jan!) I think it took as long to get the car jacked up as it did to put the shifter in...(I need a low profile jack!). I ordered a T-handle too (had one in my '69 Camaro many years ago), but I think I like the white ball better. My heritage grille is sitting here, need to find a paint shop that will actually call me back. I got the fender emblems on Thurs nite ('67 Camaro crossed flags) and I like 'em. I might get some weathertech floor mats and I think I'll be done with this car (for the time being...). I'm still debating the supercharger; it runs pretty good now, so don't know if this old man really needs to go quicker or not. I drove it today, so will clean it up a bit and take some pics this weekend if the weather holds.

As i was reading this i was just gonna ask you if you had more pics of your car cuz i really wanted to see it...and its about time that hurst shifter got to you...can you also take a pic of the grille i would like to see what it looks like without it being painted...unless its still in its box then that fine... btw how much was it?

Sevn86; here's some snapshots of the grille (before painting/installation), the shifter installed and the fender emblems. The grille was $320 at the dealer with their markup & freight/taxes to Alaska. I know people are getting them for less, but we pay a premium to live in paradise!
