Should have a garage in about 10 days though, so that's a start. Still waitin to see the Phoenix rise fro the wreckage. Nutty how much there is to be done, just from the pics. It looked bad, but the full scale of the damage just wasn't apparent. Keepin an eye on the thread.

Ha, we know this mechanic guy that charges hella cheap on everything. He charged 40 dollars to put in all four rotors and brake pads, n it was done in like 20 min. He knows his stuff too. Just go to some random mexican shop and they'll probably charge you around the same, just say, que uvole primo!

That's if the motor in the donor door isn't already toast. Window is down though, so it's a sign that it could be working. How old the motor in the donor is.. that's up in the air. No real way to tell so I may have a working motor for maybe a week/month/year and then pop rivets, powdered SMC, and 1 inch drill bits. I'll have to look at the door again, check for the trademark drill holes through the inner SMC support that would show that it's been replaced. If not.. I'm having it pulled out and the 'newer' doorman swapped in. Oh, and you don't want to see the current state of the car. Tri color and bare welds abound. Also the original rear 1/4 of the car is under the frame puller. It was a few welds and cuts from being just reskinned. But it didn't make it. Turned out to be a stronger repair with drilling out and rewelding in a new rear quarter. I may ask him down the road to duplicate the sleeve mod he's doing with the rocker right now. Make the rocker a tougher frame member. Should see the work going into that splice.. getting my money's worth dudes. Paying relatively the same price as suvalle55 does with his mechanic in body work.

i am pretty sure they only fit the stock 17's. I have found aftermarket ones for the stock 17's and that site states they will only fit them.
