Summer is nuts here and the weather has been beautiful! Sunny and warm.

I leave on Tuesday next week; three days on the ferry to Bellingham, then drive to Portland, Boise, Salt Lake City. Three days there (work), then up through Yellowstone, Missoula and Sandpoint. Three days of family reunion at Priest Lake, then back across the north Cascades to Bellingham and ferry home....should be an awesome trip! (we'll see how many times I get stopped with my 'subtle' little car!!)

The new exhaust is in

So I finally have it in. The Flow Master American Thunder is pretty awesome and I got a great deal on it. It is not obtrusive, but sounds fantastic.

If you are thinking about this, the best price is Street Side Auto. They were about $100 bucks cheaper than everybody else with the 10% discount I got over Memorial Day.

Decided I wanted it welded, so I had the shop around the corner do the install and weld it in. Only charged $87, way more than fair and they did a great job!

Oh good lord......

Look at my sig below subthey are louder than stock but at cruise speeds they are actually quieter in my opinion. You definitely need to have a tune and turn off the AFM if you have the L99......

Do you have any videos posted of your set up? I'd love to hear it...

I don't have a video. Sorry Sevn I have an L99 with active fuel management. Turning it off via tune is definitely needed to make the sound tolerable. When the engine switches to 4 cylinders the exhaust drone is bad on my exhaust. It's not that they are that loud but it's a deep vibrating, penetrating sound.

No problem, so is the AFM only an issue for V8 Camaros? I have a V6
