So it could hurt in terms of $$$...and typically, buyers of this sort of car don't go for the automatics. But maybe that's changed...this is something they've got to look at and decide.

...Though I will say, given that it's almost the middle of May...I'll bet they've already made the decision, one way or the other....so the discussion is probably moot...
It might cost some money and some time, but they'd more than make that up in increased sales because not everyone wants a stick car!

You could package it with options, such as rear gear choices, trans coolers, etc.

Just my take on it!

Heck, at this point, I might be able to buy an already modded SS from someone jumping into a ZL1 (a modded A6 SS, that is)!

901 Replies vs 1600++ votes.. Maybe GM wants 1000 replies??

Just a question from a fella who does not know too much about forum counts..

In the Thread for Transmission votes, it states there have been 901 replies but we have over 1600 votes. Doesn't a vote count as a reply? I guess not.

Maybe GM needs to hit 1,000 replies B4 telling us if Auto is coming ! ????

We have achieved the number of responses they wanted. Have patience.

PATIENCE? Devil, plz dont accuse/insinuate me of being in an impatient state... answer the question I posed about counts on forums. Focus and think before you reply so quickly! Thank you!

Now, why is the "replies" inconsistent with votes? Anyone else care to dive in?

Maybe because just some "voted", didn't mean they cared to take the time and and make a reply. This is a very big topic with 28,000+ views, makes sense to me.

ZL1 auto

I VOTE FOR A AUTOMATIC BUT I DON'T LIKE THAT YOU CAN'T SHIFT IT MANUALLY OTHER THAN THE THE PADDLE SHIFTERS. I JUST CAN,T GET USE TO THEM. IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU COULD USE THE FLOOR SHIFTER ALSO. ANY ONE AGREE?

Easy there spanky! Lots of people are waiting (impatiently) for GM's reply. The answer to your question is that just voting in the poll does not count as a reply. Unless you make a comment, a reply isn't counted, hence the difference in votes and replies.

Quite simple; you can vote without entering a reply, thus the difference. Now be patient.
