I talked to them at the fest and was told 15-20 with the auto and still the 25 or so with the stick but I think wait and see what is official on paper.

15-20hp?? I be really pissed if I or someone dyno their car and only see about in the middle like 17-18hp.

I dam sure wont have waited this long when I could of just went with injen as I originally have planned. Injen is like 18hp in gain right?

As I have said before, Injen dyno from JRE and Vararams, both good testing proceedure were told, showed similar numbers up to 6000 rpm where Vararams made double. Thats where I want to see more tests. Sounds to strange as I havent seen any intake dyno tests on even LS engines do that.

especially if the intake is going to cost $450. i believe that's the price of the v8. even if it's $400, that's a lot, to not see significant gains.

1. Price has already been posted. Read the thread.
2. Its a ram air intake, a normal dyno can not accurately measure the power added.

Remember Injen was 14.4 average at the peak by itself and no other mods. 15-20 isnt bad and, if it works, the ram air effect will help over 60 mph or whatever the mph is. Injen has no duct and doesnt appear to be in a area to pick up high pressure without it. I think Vararam will do the job, but as we ahve all found out on this engine, " your results may vary".

1. Sorry, i haven't kept that close attention to this thread. It's currently 37 pages long. How about instead of being a douche, just mention the price...

2. It's a better measurement than nothing at all and blindly spending hundreds of dollars on a performance mod. especially since i already have an aftermarket intake...

For manuals, it will be 600 bucks. For autos 200.

Instead of charging the same for both, they will be screw the ppl with manuals to help keep the price down for us with autos.

If that were true they wouldn't sell a one. Atleast, not to me.
