I have so much to learn...some of those values are way over my understanding. I will not rest until I can read this thread without scratching my head

Still having problems with the 3-4 shift and at the end of the track I'm getting reduced engine power message but nothing in the ECU. Did managed to set a new trap speed, 12.6 @ 113.53, gained 2 MPH by regarding the intake cam a few degrees.

4.6 seconds, that's awesome! have you ever considered upgrading your cams? would it be a good idea?

Don't even think they make cams for the LLT.

I found out why I was getting the reduced engine power message, my fuel rail pressure dropped to half the commanded so it locked the fuel pressure at 12 MPA and after 5 seconds threw that message at me.

Got to 113.53 mph by retarding the intake came 5 degrees at high RPM so I know the car has the power, just getting off the line is killing me. I think I've got too much timing at low RPM high load, will have to try to fix that.

Did a lot better than other cars out there, Camaro V8's were running 14's.

After reviewing the logs more it looks like removing more torque management made the 3-4 shift better. This week I'm going to work on getting the shift times faster.

I also made a new tune that is a little crazy. Drive mode will be normal with WOT shifts around 6800. Sport mode though, it will keep the RPM'S over 1500 so when you hit the gas it will be in boost. Also will hold gears longer and be more eager to downshift. Won't be a good gas mileage mode but should be fun.

There is! MACE engineering have them and with the AUS vs USD, it'd work out to be relatively cheap - perhaps even worth a quick email. A buddy of mine made 301rwhp with a set on his LLT.

Very nice trap speed

Going to this event on Sunday, see how well my V6 does in a sea of V8's.

I was planning on going Friday for test and tune but that looks like fun, might have to go Sunday instead. Weather permitting of course. This whole week is looking pretty wet.

We went last year and had a lot of fun. From the official post:

"Food trucks from Smokin' Okies Catering, Lalo's I love my Taco Chop & Grill and El Reno Original Fried Onion Burgers"

Several vendors will be out there and raffles. Last year one guy won $750 gift certificate from Borla. The main sponsor I believe is Twin Peak's, so a few of the girls might be out there.

Some good news from testing today. I decided to move my big meth nozzle from after the intercooler to 2" before the throttle body after the 90° bend. Both widebands were reading the same for the first time ever. It wasn't the intake manifold that caused the poor distribution of meth, it was that turn right before the throttle body. This means I can run a bigger nozzle and go even smaller with my pulley. Also means I can make it a cleaner install.

May have really just made progress. I increased the shift pressure by 10% on the 1-2 / 2-3 / 3-4 shifts, gained 0.1 seconds on the trans slip on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. The car is feeling great right now, the methanol is working right and starting to get the trans where it needs to be.

The green line on the first graph is the MPH, if you see how it suddenly jumps, that is how hard the shifts are now. Before I increased the pressure it was smooth. Went from 35 MPH to 50 MPH, tires were spinning and traction control was going crazy the whole time on a warm concrete surface.

Looks like the weather will be nice Sunday, should be fun.

Drove the Camaro yesterday, 1-2 shift is 0.15 seconds now, at the track last time it was 0.33 seconds, nice gain right there. Will see how it reacts at the track, but I'm running 22.5 degrees of timing advance with no knock with my new meth nozzle placement.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, I'm planning on being up there at 10:00 as long as it isn't raining. I wonder what the DA will be like Sunday.

2000-2500, depending on the humidity. As long as the sun is out it will heat the track up for grip.

Getting my methanol topped off in the Camaro and having to swap out the wheels/tires on the Mustang V6. Don't know how but even with 275 summer tires on my wife's Mustang it will smoke the tires if you aren't easy in first gear, but in my Camaro with a steeper gear and supercharger doesn't. She has Nitto 555's and I have BF Goodrich Sport Comp 2's. Something in that tune that MPT does for that 3.7 gives it massive amount of torque over the Chevy 3.6 at low RPM's.
