I've also heard the stock lifters will hold up better than the "Performance" lifters. was told by a good source to stay away from them.

I feel for ya. broke two vertebrae almost ten years ago. Keep the brace on any time you are moving around. It makes a big difference in healing.

Brian Tooley's site shows them backordered. I still think it's the springs but I'm not taking any chances so I will see if I can come up with them. Just waiting for the cam so I can fly cut the pistons and measure pushrod length. Heads are done except for final assembly.

I've had no problems with AFR 8019 dual springs. Rated for .650. Actually ran 45K mile on the first set. mostly highway miles, Never had it on the track. 20K on the second set. Have yet to test the old springs. Curious to how much fatigue they have or if they still had life in them. Will be installing 3rd set when I get home to finish installing G6X3 cam. Just hate that they are $16.49 each.

My concern now is the lifters, I've ready taken care of the springs.

looking for upgraded/race lifters that are a direct replacement for the stock ones. Engine is staying stock, any suggestions?

Morel/Lunati link bar or BTR SLR lifters. For the morels you'll need to measure pr length because they are a tad longer.

Air pockets, burp the system. Did you plug the sensor back onto the head on the passenger side?

If its the sensor toward the front, yes I plugged that one in. How do you burp the system. I ran it for a while with the cap off.
