Jack the front of the car up and the air will move towards the cap easier. Leave heater on also.

Hey guys. Got a few bucks from tax returns. Wondering how I should spend it and I need some advice. Would you get a nice set of rims, an aftermarket stereo with navigation along with a back-up camera installed, or a set of ported heads? Naturally, I'm leaning towards the ported heads first, stereo second, and the rims last. But I would not regret either of the three choices. Advice?

Figured I'd update a little especially for those that loose a lifter or have other internal breakage. I fly cut my pistons and was ready to clean everything up for assembly. I dropped the pan down and removed the baffle to access all the crevices and found a little more debris but still couldn't find the missing lifter pieces and some needle bearings so I removed the pickup and found the bearings trapped by the screen. I then dropped the windage tray and found the lifter parts. I would strongly suggest to anyone who has similar breakage to drop the pan, pickup, baffle and windage tray to remove debris. There are many areas that you cannot clean without removal. Once removed everything is easily accessible. There are also a couple of areas on the block that trapped a little debris and all can be accessed. The pictures below show what you have to deal with, you cannot just try to flush it out.

Glad I made the cross member removable last time or I would have had to remove the engine.

Bottom end is buttoned up and the cam is installed, waiting on lifters and springs.

Went with the GPI SS4, milled the heads .040, Brian Tooley springs, most likely going with Comp Cams lifters.
