dealer had invoice and showed "shipped 10/03/09 hope thats true and show should be here 10/19/09 but they have been running about a week late. so far everything with this seems to be late, so

I got my VIN! I'm surprised how high it is. #53617
My dealer says it will take 3+ weeks for delivery. I can live with that. I guess.
Seems like there should be a "next-day air" option. Maybe USPS Priority Camaro delivery?

Got those stuck in the railyard in Toronto blues....there's a song there somewhere I know

So, I wish the rest of the 3400s would be built because I believe my car is lonely and is adamant about waiting in Toronto until the rest of you catch up

I think it shows up in the tracking thread but it takes a day or two to update.

nessa - I messed up the path the train took. (my wife corrected me!

It went from Toronto, to Michigan, to Illinois (was there for a couple of days playing musical cars.) Then, on to Iowa, then to Missouri. It then arrived on 10/5/09 at Armourdale, Kansas. As of this morning, it's still there.

The only benefit I get from calling, is when it actually moves. Clearly, at this point, I'm sick of hearing the word Armourdale. (No offense to those in Kansas.)

I guess it would be like those that are still waiting on a VIN... if you just knew the car was actually built and simply waiting on the system to update. That's how it is with calling the 1-800 make-up-city-names tracking system. You know it's getting ever so closer.

I don't mean to complain about the 1-800 number, it's just frustrating when you can't tell if he's saying Blue Island or Rock Island or what. I like to map it and see where it is.

Good luck to all of you today waiting on VINS and those of us stuck in "Available to Ship" status.
