Here is my baby who just passed away a few months ago...our hearts are still mending, but I think we are all feeling a need to fill that void with a new pup really soon!!

SSMOKINGHOT, I'm sorry for your loss. You guys will know when the time is right to get another dog. And when you do, take comfort in knowing that it was the one which was supposed to come into your lives at that precise moment in time when it actually does!

FRANK121, all three of your dogs look happy and healthy! Though I must say, I like the pic of sky the best! From that vantage point, that dog is in complete control of the entire room...and knows it too!

Our doggies......Molly (chocolate lab/Visla mix- blind in one eye we got from a rescue shelter) and Apollo (Giant Schnauzer).

Everyone has posted such good photos of their beloved pets (family members)! It is apparent by the posts that Camaro owners love for animals is as big as their love for their cars. Animals are truly amazing and do more for us then we give them credit for. Here are my two super heros.

Bandit the honey blonde Chihuahua FOUND me! He was a stray and somehow ended up sitting under my freshly parked and very hot diesel dually truck. He was at the end of his rope, exhausted, dehydrated, malnourished. His honey blonde legs were black from being on the run for so long. He would have been dead in 24 hours in the 106 degree heat. I coaxed him out from under the truck with pepperoni pieces off my pizza, resuscitated him in my air-conditioned house and we have been buddies for 1.5 years now. He has gained 8 pounds.

Wee-Wee is the Jack Russell that was given to my daughter by my niece who had just got her as a pup but had to give her up. Long story there...won't bother you. Bottom line... Niece's loss, Wee-Wees gain! She has matured into a beautiful, smart, loving young lady.

Thanks for your kind words. Turns out a chocolate lab chose our family last weekend! My husband and daughter went to Petsmart last weekend to pick up some stuff for our cat and the shelter was doing an adopt-a-thon. This lab was just laying there....all the other dogs were barking or standing and wagging their tails. My hubby thought the dog might be sick cuz he was just laying there all sad looking. Then my daughter walked by and the dog jumped right up and wagged his tail and was all happy!! So, now we have Yogi...named after my favorite baseball player, Yogi Berra! Our family feels complete once again!!

Here is our pup. The first 2 are six months ago, the last one is recent. He is a German Shorthair and English Springer mix. I have never been around a dog that loves people as much as he does. As you can imagine, he loves to hunt. Smart little dude. We love him.

Slowkray, I love that mix! Gundogs are my favorite anyway, but that mix could be very special. Always take your camera with you when you're out and about with that dog. He's got fun written all over his face!

3CamaroOnHand, those two look like best buddies! I hope you add more pics soon.
