Anyone else liking the sound of a 250 hp Focus ST and wishing GM had something to go against it?

Just went back and found the article and it's stating 3.91 final-drive.

http://www.caranddriver.com/news/201...amaro-1le-news

Chevy previewed the 1LE package with a concept at last year’s SEMA show. The production model will replace the Camaro SS’s standard Tremec TR6060-M10 six-speed manual transmission with a close-ratio TR6060-MM6 six-speed stick and a higher final-drive ratio of 3.91:1.

I am not going to find that kind of power with the 1.4, but maybe we can get close enough to make it interesting...

I'd be quite happy with the 220 horse 2.0T in my Cruze. I can't imagine what you will have to do to get a 1.4 even close to 200. But then again if the 1.4 were also DU you might see 160

Cam, intake & exhaust.

Swap LS3 for LS7?

...no, the LS3 is such a finely designed and underutilized engine in it's current patflorm. It can put out gobs more power and yet still keep within the fail safe range. The 427 CID LS7 is another story.....

I'll know this Sunday and I am thinking 160ish is where we'll end up. Maybe they can get the Caddy 2T into the Sonic in the future.

Lets bring back the Sky Redline 2.0 with the turbo upgrade and stuff it into a Sonic hatch...... That should do the trick.

I'm sure with enough work we could make it a FWD set up.
