Everyone needs to get away from the hydraulic clutch line. It sucks for performance purposes. I understand a cable needs adjustment, but do you really expect me to believe that they cant come up with another reliable way to engauge a clutch?

I'd like to know what their proposed fix is if it only takes an hour to do. An extra return spring or something maybe?

I think it's a different pedal assembly, the one from the GT500.

Looks like they replace the brake pedal and bracket assembly

It's a hydraulic issue....it's pretty much by design. GM does this under "hard usage" to preserve the drivetrain parts.

Older LS vechicles use the "drill" mod to open up the passage way in the hydraulic clutch system.

Keep the faith, this WILL get sorted out by the folks who use and abuse em', not GM.

They way they are going they are more likely to do away with the third pedal altogether. :(

Isn't really liters that matter. Wouldn't a 4.5L V6 be equal to 4.5L V8 ? Fits same amount of air & fuel

Yes. It will go the way of the SMG trans such as seen in the BMW and select other few manufactures.

BTW - I have had no issues so far knock on wood. I plan to put a twin disc clutch in after the first of the year to handle the ET Drags I will be running.

No, they are not equal. an equal displacement V6 has less unshrouded valve area, and total valve area. if the V8 is restricted it will make the same power, ie small throttle body designed for the v6.

8 ports that flow 300cfm vs. 6 ports that flow exactly the same is the difference.

i will guarantee you that a Turbocharged supra inline 6 will not make more power per pound of boost than my ported head turbocharged 4.6 dohc 4v or your LS3.

fully ported 2JZ heads only flow 289in /180ex @ 28". as big of a legend as they are, they are not anything "special". stock 2JZ ports only flow 233in / 159 exhaust. they dont make more power per pound of boost than anything else out there. airflow is airflow. pounds per minute and BSFC decides everything.

and further more, if ford is smart, they will drop the coyote after a few years.

the facts of life are: 3.7 twin turbo = 365hp/420tq from a non forged motor. 5.0 coyote = 416/390tq.

add a few pounds of boost and forge the 3.7, and its right there with anything anywhere. id switch. if Ford forged the 3.7, id want it over a V8. because 25 psi of boost rules over all-motor any day.

they do, but with boost. run that same amount of TURBO boost into a termi, and the supra output pales. stock for stock. both stock heads flow similar.
