i will guarantee you that a Turbocharged supra inline 6 will not make more power per pound of boost than my ported head turbocharged 4.6 dohc 4v or your LS3.

fully ported 2JZ heads only flow 289in /180ex @ 28". as big of a legend as they are, they are not anything "special". stock 2JZ ports only flow 233in / 159 exhaust. they dont make more power per pound of boost than anything else out there. airflow is airflow. pounds per minute and BSFC decides everything.

When I am running things, there will be a moratorium on cars with conflicting animal names; i.e. "Mustang Cobra." It's absurd as a Barracuda Eagle or a Tiburon Llama.

Also, there will be no arms that come down at railroad crossings - just warning lights. The money saved will be invested in reinforcing the fronts of locomotives.

I'm Paul Huizenga, and I approved this message.

Probably the same reason why theres so many Corvette types.

The Shelby GT350's and GT500 Supersnake's are built in low numbers after the fact by SAI a 3rd party, just like Nicky, or Yenko did/ does just Shelby is more popular and has more notoriety then Roush, Saleen, Lingenfilter, Hennessy and sells more numbed car's now days then all these other tuner special editions, which is all the GT350 really is.

Factory produced Mustang's include
Mustang V6
Mustang GT
Mustang Boss
GT500

The same number as factory produced Corvette's
Corvette LS3
Corvette GS
Corvette ZO6
Corvette ZR1

I don't think you'd be complaining if GM made a true N/A Boss killing model with a z/28 badge on the grill and still have a supercharged version for those sorta guy's called the ZL1 instead if f-ing up history/ tradition and calling it a z/28

You guy's shouldn't even be sweatin the low boost GT350 once the Fully Forged Roush Stage 3 5.0L comes out pushing 15+psi or boosted Boss 302's.

no i wasn't meaning for it to sound like im complaining i just kinda of wish ford would bring back the ford gt and let that compete with the vette while let the shelby compete with whats in its price range (which could be the z28)

GT sales and production were never really good, it was also intended primarily to be a anniversary car for Ford's centennial.

I would like to see Ford introduce a true sports/exotic/supercar..something to slay the ZR1 Corvette.

Sorry if I came across snippy, there has been other threads about members complaining that Ford has too many Mustang models and they need to be corrected, especially if its the title of the thread.

Anyways I'm totally with you on a new Ford GT corvette fighter and it wouldn't surprise me if we saw something like that in the next 7 years.

Either one would have worked for me. But definitely preferably the GR1.

I just remember reading about the motor. Thing was beastly.
