Bank of America is on top of the "unusual spending activity". I tried to get gas this morning, using my debit card. The pump said to check with the cashier. But I thought to myself, "hell no", so I went ahead and swiped my card again and it said to check with the cashier. again, I thought to myself, "wtf, hell no". so I just pull up to the next stall and try again, and once again it says to check with the cashier. At this point i'm annoyed. Normally I would have just drove off and tried another gas station, but I was running real low on gas. Light was on and I've been driving around a bit. lol
Anyway, I go inside and tell the cashier that I think their pumps aren't accepting cards. So I tell him to run $20 on my card for gas. He said it was declined, but maybe it's because I need to put it through as credit, because he said sometimes cards are weird that way. So I run it again as credit and he says it's still denied. I start to panic a bit. Thinking someone stole my info and used up all my money. So I charge $20 on my bank of America credit card, and it goes through. So my initial reaction to that is, "Phew, I won't be late for work". on my way, I call up BofA and they just said it was run too many times in a short amount of time and they fixed it right away. The end.

gas! lol the BofA lady even saw I tried to get gas at circle K. so I think the problem was the pump, but I was too stubborn to listen to it the first time
