AMEN… you could use your remote, you could use the interior door handle, or you could adjust your settings via the head unit for the car to lock when in drive and unlock when in park. They're really not needed IMO

Except us manual guys don't have the park option; and the fob buttons don't work while the key is in the ignition.

Some new info for you guys, if you have an after market shifter handle, you will need to mod the 4 pack trim, like GM did on all auto trims.

Needing to mod the trim you mean? Because they changed the four gauge pack bezel ever so slightly when they switched to the MyLink head unit.

Oh I see your referring to where the 4 gauges are?? Wasn't sure where on the trim needing to modify and why would an after market shifter play a part?

I must be extremely slow today cause only see a clip that is different. LoL. Might need some arrows lol


I see now on my computer. was looking at it inicially on iphone. Width looks different in places. Will that be something that can be moded or another gauge pack required. If able will there be a DIY

4 pack trim bezel?

I have a 2010 automatic with a stock shift handle. Will I need to modify/update the part in question when I install this kit? Thanks.
