Hahaha! Sorry, I wish is was bitchin, but it's not . Lol. It has to doing with wiring, but not directly related to this double din kit. I sure wish it was though, because I would LOVE one, along with dozens of others in this thread. Ha-ha. I wonder if Jessie (Third Gen) still frequents camaro5. I need another way to contact him.

So, if the 2013 Camaro will have the MyLink infotainment system in it, maybe we will be able to buy the actual GM part that will hold a double din aftermarket radio for our 2010 models.

That's what I said and was thinking in the 1LE thread. That would be cool! If it does not match up we can get Ofer to make a harness He can make a harness for anything!

im not sure why you'd think that the mylink head unit would = aftermarket double din adapter... i'm sure its all one integrated unit...

now, getting it working in an earlier year? unless they change the GMLAN, should be able to get something going, though may need some kind of programming...

From the pictures I have seen of it int he Camaro it looks as if the screen is separate from the bezel/control knobs etc. With the current stereo it is a unit behind the fascia display screen etc.

Dunno. I could be wrong, since all we have are renderings, but I would venture to bet that the setup for this touch screen/controls will be the same as the current units... control head assembly as a whole, with brain box behind...

Yeah, man, sorry to hear that... I came on late and requested to buy one of these kits. If some company (or individual) would create these it would sell like hot cakes because the stock radio is garbage, but we all love the look and mechanics of the stock controls.
