Just got my Rally Yellow 2LT down here in South Florida, right off the lot at Lou Bradchot in Coconut Creek, FL. They get alot of them so its a good place to start your search.
I recommend that everyone try to get financing pre-approved at Chase - they have really great rates and that will really help you in making a deal.

Ordered mine at MSRP and even a $500 rebate for answering some sort of survey at Jupiter Chevrolet in Dallas, TX (Garland, TX). Took two months and I'm very happy all the way around. Financed at 4.49% with US Bank.

Ask for Robert Shaw

I just picked up mine today from Wilkinson Chevrolet in Sanford, NC. Ordered it back in June, not knowing that they didn't have large allocations...but got it for UNDER MSRP (turns out it helps to be a member of a credit union; GM gives members discounts!). Warren Kelly, my sales rep, called me the moment it arrived, and arranged for me to come get it today, the day after Thanksgiving!

Went in, worked through it all, and he pushed off a later appointment just to make sure I saw every feature that the car had. I really have to give it to Warren and his whole team; every other dealer in the area seems to be tacking on costs, but they didn't try jacking me up, even apologizing for the extra cost tagged on by an additional component in the C&C package (now with backup sensors).

So, Wilkinson Automotive

Still waiting, patiently, for the first dealer to say yes to my offer:

1SS manual
RS package, Moonroof
$30k out the door (tax, title, and all dealer/doc/processing fees included)

I have no problem waiting. Been waiting for 32 years to buy a Camaro, what's another couple of months

Smile Ordered Camaro - Chattanooga

I finally found a dealer close to me (70 mi) who would deal.
Mountain View Chev. Chattanooga, TN
Great people - I dealt with Scott Harriman. Ordered Wed. Nov. 25 I had no trade in. Better than MSRP and could be better if $500 return policy is extended.

Lynn Smith, Burleson Texas accepted ALL of my rebates/ offers (at MSRP) in addition to their own dealter $300 holiday deal. They were hassle- free and very accomodating. They have many colors in stock right now too! I dealt with Linda, and she was fabulous. I picked up my ABM 2LT today in the cold, 41 degree rain. But I'm smiling like crazy..........!

So you want a used one, eh? Just so that you know, you're asking for well below employee (GMS) pricing.

As configured, that vehicle is as follows:

MSRP W/DFC: $33,695.00
Invoice W/DFC: $32,213.21
GMS W/DFC: $31,377.86
Supplier W/DFC: $32,783.11

If you're insisting on new, then you may wish to look at an LT2 model.

Great:

JBA Chevrolet in Glen Burnie, MD. they knocked $1000 off of the price for me, and met me on the deal i wanted.

Not so great:

Fox Chevrolet in Woodlawn, MD.......wouldnt budge an inch on their price.....AND when i told them i didnt want any extras added to the price qoute, they still added in Perma Plate ($300 wax job) and Security feature ($200 VIN# etched into the glass). who the hell wants that?!?!?

I hope you get that.....i used all the Edmonds.com info i could....i also was looking for the $30K deal......got the exact car i wanted, but because of the popularity of the car at this point in time, if you can bring it up to $33, thats attainable. with the right dealer of course. My 1SS/RS manual, comes to $33,396 after the cash back i get from USAA & GM.
