That time is only from one magazine. Typical tests will result in around 0-60 times of 5.5 or more.

I'm not sure of the stock gears they put in them, but they do offer 3.31 gears as an option on the V6 Mustangs. The 3.31 gears are standard for the 5.0s.

Just out of curiosity, when referring to gears, does that mean the final drive ratio is 3.31?

Last night, some suspension tweaks were made and several test passes were made. We ended up with 3 10-second slips and a ton of 11-second slips. The car now has over 120 track passes!

It really needs a set of cams to get the full power out of the current mods. There is no weight reduction other than removing the spare tire and jack and of course the wheels/tires. The car weighed 3,680 lbs.

Mods are:

Livernois Motorsports 12:1 Pistons
Livernois Motorsports Stage 1 CNC Heads
FRPP Manifold
Stainless Works Headers, Catted Mid-Pipe, and Catback
CAI
4.10 Ring & Pinion
Circle D Stall Converter
Livernois Motorsports 1-Piece Aluminum Driveshaft
Livernois Motorsports Dyno Tune
FRPP Springs & Adjustable Shocks/Struts
Drag Radials/Skinnies

Evo said they have a video coming shortly.

Their built 5.0 with the procharger, the one that did the crazy wheel stand, just went 8.89 @ 148 mph with a 1.28 60ft time.

on stock mustang GT 5.0
what is the overall gear ratio..
like what speeds does it shift 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th...
Wondering if their overall gear ratio is tighter then the camaro SS?

the final gear ratio can be 3.31, 3.55, or 3.73. also all auto 5.0s have a final gear ratio of 3.15.

Gear ratios for 6 speed manual
1st 3.66
2nd 2.43
3rd 1.69
4th 1.32
5th 1.00
6th 0.65

And usually ford has been more aggressive in gearing the mustang than chevy has with the camaro.
