Well if it was and is well maintained then I would say its not bad. But if its having all sorts of mechanical issues then I would say its just going to become a money pit to keep it running. If its running right 3K is a little bit to good to be true,

Seller's Description and Comments
Completely stock manual transmission Z-28 purchased in 2010. Car runs strong and had new tires put on last summer. Tires have about 10,000 miles on them. Car was mainly used as a commuter and has not been raced or modified. Adult driver.

I work for Fender and the only drum brands under its umbrella are Gretsch, Sabian, Gibraltar, Latin Percussion and Toca. So of course I'm going to say get a Gretsch lol. I had a Yamaha Stage Custom in High School that was pretty good. I guess i'd equate it our Gretsch Catalina Maples. I love my Gretsch Renown kit. The sound is amazing but prices out around 1200-1500 without hardware.
