C5Fest V..Official Pics & Videos for Fbodfather....
Sorry for the long write but thought it was appropriate!
From somewhere up in the air on my way home from Fest-----Just some thoughts about my Camarofest trip to Baytown Texas. First I would like to thank ANYONE who was involved with the organization or setup of fest! I had a great time!! For the past 3 years I have attended Camarofest. It was nice to have it In a different part of the country this year as you can see and explore what this country has to offer! It was quite different though not having a Camaro to tinker with when at fest (We removed my dashboard 2 years ago at the Indy Camarofest) But I found some ways around that! As I always tell new enthusiast to the Camaro brand it's not only about the car but the people you meet are just fantastic and really are just car nuts that love to chat about anything and with any age, gender or race...we are one big happy family (most of the time). Over the past 5 years when I first got involved with Camaro I just thought it would be a car that me and my father drove and that's all that it would be. That lasted maybe the first month! My first big event was the plant tour in Oshawa in 2011 and from that one time I have developed friendships that will last forever and people that I can call my extended family! CAMARO it's really more than just a car for sure! With most regret and it's not by choice, that this might be my last Camarofest for a while as I will begin my venture into the world of college to study Automotive Marketing And Management and one day I hope to work for GM so I can continue helping to make these awesome cars and most important meeting the people that buy them as I think that's the best part of being a Camaro enthusiast!! SOOO with that I will share some pics from the fest! -Richie |
