Finally found a source for the right bolt. Not easy to find longer 3/8 UNC bolts in the UK. Belt wrap is better. I will see it the belt slips down the road. Definitely like the belt routing on the ESS kit. I may look into just trying to buy their bracketry.

I feel that the ESS design is better and you don't have the problem of tensioner pulley contacting the belt coming off of the SC pulley.

if you route yours the way I recommend, you will not have a problem with belt touching itself, or belt traction.

IMO, the ECS and ESS which have done the same, both pulliing up on the belt, with fixed idlers either side of the blower is the better design |

My Camaro is on the road and now on a boat back to the USA
Well, life comes at you fast. My company has moved me, with little notice to a position in DC. I flew in to get settled and meet the new customer then fly back to the UK. My car was running but not on the road. I finished it off and sorted the tune to about 95%. It runs and drives fantastic. I dropped it to the shipper last week and it is now on its way to Savannah, GA. I will be a geo-bachelor in DC while my family stays in Augusta. Not sure if I will bring the Camaro up to DC or not at this point.
Just tickled pink to be able to drive it and feel the new power. Cheers,

Looked back to the beginning, only 2.5 years to build. Not the slowest, but slow...

The house I lived in was built in 1633. The original part of it at least. I have moved back to the US after 6 years of working there... It is good to be back - but the house was cool, lots of character. However, not a plumb doorway or level floor in the place...

My Camaro has arrived unscathed to Georgia! Only 5 miles more on the odometer. Can't wait to drive it this weekend....

Driving on American roads again. This car wants to go fast. The PatG 224/240 FI cam works and drives great with the YSi. No low speed stumbling or bucking. Very easy to break the tires loose in gears 1-4. 52mph at 1100rpm in 6th no lugging. The YSi does move air down low even when not in boost. Looks like I will need to install those 1LE axles and offset housing bushings along with solid cradle bushings.
Happy new years!

There's no reason any blown LS shouldnt drive perfectly normally ! It'd take a bad cam choice to really mess it up.
Even mine with the YSi would happily pull from 1k in 6th if I wanted, and that was the tall 0.5 6th. You'd never drive like that...but you could if wanted. |
