Centerforce

Well I will have to agree with you regarding the customer responsiveness with Centerforce. They are not the easiest people to deal with for sure but they do make a damn good clutch. The high HP Corvette boys use a Triple Carbon clutch that costs about 3500 dollars so things could be worse! LOL

We have a few team Street Slayer members here with $5000 quads ,A big investment for sure but that's what it takes to hold 2500 HP

you should be ok as long as you stay away from the track, even hard launch my car with 650 rwhp, still haven't been able to break my stock clutch on the street, been with this setup for almost a year, plan on doing a track rental next month, will see what breaks first. friend of mine at 570 rwhp has a video of his stock clutch slipping pretty bad at the track on his first pass.

If your on stock tires and the tires spin the stock clutch will hold. Its the higher gears like shifts from 3rd to 4th and 4th to 5th where the tires can't spin and the clutch slips and that o so familiar smell enters the cabin!

Thomas I need that deal we talked about..

I have had no problems at higher speeds down shifting to 3rd or 4th im in the 700 rwhp range on stock clutch.

Mine did it when I downshifted to 4th about 60-65mph where the rpm's would be around 3,500- 4,000rpm and the clutch is trying to hold the power without the tires spinning. Give it time and the stock clutch will go, keep those tires spinning or be ready to install a clutch.

So I got the clutch installed at a local shop great guys. The clutch is amazing in every way except one and I'm wondering if this is because of install or natural. At idle in neutral it makes light rattling noise when I push in a little on the clutch pedal it goes away quickly. We did not replace slave cylinder as it only had 3500 miles on it. Does anyone believe that could be the cause of this noise? Also does anyone that has one of these amazing clutches have the same noise?? Would love some feedback from people that have this clutch! Thank you for your help! Also it's blue and all the pics on the forms the clutch is green probably just a newer color?

I've been running a mantic 9000 series for over 2 years and absolutely love it .... Have given it hell ... It has never suffered from shuddering, doesn't slip and has excellent pedal feel. I'd put another one in, in a heartbeat.

I'm at 782.50rwhp / 680.77rwtq

Did you get a lighter flywheel? If so that is probably the culprit. Not an issue just the nature of the beast or so I'm told. Mine does it a little as well and I have a Mantic 9000.

Depends what you want to do with the car ... Nacho with the TT LSX is putting down 1360rwhp and still has a manual.
