So it appears you have to go thru the door rather than the trunk lid?

If so, I'm sol with a convertible as the rear seat doesn't go down. It would have to go in the rear seat then. It's temporary.

No. They fit through the trunk opening.

I only folded the seat down because I had two to transport.

I just looked at the video Wizard1183 posted, it IS NOT showing the Brembo with OEM roller skates sticking up like SSmoothie mentioned. Wizard1183, I think you are missing the point he was making about the Roller Skate version sticks out way further than the others. I am running the factory spare but had to use an extra wide hub-centric spacer to adjust clearance for the huge Roller Skates.

What the hells a roller skate? It fits brmbos or it doesn't. 2010 didn't have roller skates. I know mine will fit with the spacer. I wasn't aware there's 2 diff kinds of brmbos

The "roller skates" are harmonic balancers that cancel the brake squeal from the hard ass brembo brake pads that were installed at the factory.
With no thanks to the sensative people who's hearing was offended, Brembo finally changed the material on the pads so they didn't squeal but didn't stop as fast either.

All you had to do to stop the squeal was run up to speed and stomp the brakes. ***** foots never did figure that out.

I'm sure you can find images on goo-gull if you really want.

Not everyone goes to Camarofest. However most go to a bar at some point.

My 2010 RS/SS has roller skates, well had, and I cut them off with my sawzall. And now the spare fits with out a spacer.

Spare sits up about 1/2 in the trunk, it come with a new hold down adapter to get to the bolt. I'm set, with this and a puncture kit.

Well, a stock 20x9 rear tire will go in the trunk, through the trunk opening, on a 2014 convertible. You lose at least half the trunk space. And......wait for it.......you can't lower the convertible top with the tire in the trunk. So much for carrying a real spare when I go on vacation.

Don't ask me how I know this.
