It carries the power to the stripe because IAT are stable, this is 3 hot laps in a row with only cool down the length of the return road, I was able to turn off the return road right in to the burnout box and run this number.

Just because you can run more boost does not mean you are going to be faster.

You need to be able to carry the dyno numbers (collected in 4-6 seconds) to the finish line (which is double that time) because as heat builds over time power diminishes.

You confirmed what I said, the CTSV needs a 1 step larger Crank pulley to achieve the same power a the ZL-1 does.

Please share your power and times with each set up.

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Ted this is very interesting to me as with all the talk of the other cars coming out faster and faster this is a good step in the right direction. My question to you is for my ZL I'd like a few more ponies under the hood. I do primarily AutoX with some track days mixed in there. Occasional 1/4 mile stuff but primarily road racing so that would be my desired direction. I've got some friends with Z06's and I've been able to stay close but there is a new '15 Z06 coming and some of my Camaro friends are modding so I would just like a bit of a "jump" to keep things interesting. What's your suggestions and this is my DD so I've got to keep it realistic as I'm happy with the reliability and drive ability it has now.

Our 75 RWHP package is a proven performer on the road coarse.

I have logged over 500 miles on the road coarse with this set up an it is flawless.

I feel it is a great balance for this car and the biggest bang for the buck.

Ted, On your road course runs, what are your Coolant and Oil Temps running, I've seen as high as 220-240 on my coolant and about 260-280 on oil? Normal? They do come down when I'm in 6th gear, but seem to shoot up high when in 3rd, 4th and have to run there for a while.

And Also Ted, I apologize for not getting the last data logs for you...I've had to put the ZL1 up since I started the divorce process back in Oct.

They are well within GM normal limits or the car would go in to Engine protection mode.

Higher RPM will produce more Oil heat and engine heat.

The last 2 days out I was running pretty hard in 3rd for 3/4 of the track and 4th on the front straight.

I beat this thing pretty hard on the road coarse and it never misses a beat.

Obviously higher octane allows some more timing and thus more torque. But where did the extra boost pressure come from?
Headers or no?

MSD voltage booster - Why is this necessary? Only on the JRE 125 w/Torco run?

JRE drain kit - What is this? Only on the JRE 125 w/Torco run?

No changes other than Octane and timing.

The change is boost actually went down due to the change in timing by .4

When you run low timing you typically will have higher boost readings.

The whole reason for this exercise is to refine the existing packages and tuning.

And to try some different combinations.

We find that fuel pressure drops on the 125 RWHP packages so we are now recommending the MSD Voltage booster for this package.

We find that draining the catch can is a pain so we have a kit to move the valve down on the frame with a hose and fittings.

This increases the capacity of the catch can and makes draining it at Oil change time a breeze with no mess.

Ted.
