I always do the speed limit.... So if I was going to see how fast my car was, I would go to Hwy 73 where its four lanes and alot of nothing for about 45 miles. I am pretty sure it would cut out at 155mph and I am pretty sure it would be just as smooth as it is at 65. I dont think it would be that big of a deal since I frequently hit 220mph on a turbo busa.... But of course, this is all a lie and I never break the speed limit!

Many years ago (ok, at least past the statute of limitations to get busted) I topped out my IROC's speedo (145). It took a while to get there, and the top didn't like it... but it got there!! I'll never be stupid enough to do it again unless it's at a drag strip, but everyone was young and stupid once upon a time...

Well going over the posted speed limit is wrong and I would never...............but if one was guessing at a speed the Camaro could feasibly achieve with no problem, with one hand on the wheel and the other on the shifter I suspect there would be a 1 and a 3 and a 9 in some sort of order. But who know's really, double nickel all the time for me.............

Geez, I hope you aren't doing double nickel on a freeway posted at 75. Better stay out of the left lane!
