Question

Happy 09 everyone!!. we are getting closer to the spring / Camaro!!. Number 3 i know this question may have been asked but could you explain how you got to drive the 2010 Camaro. i know these are test cars but do you work for GM or a dealer?. Thanks Jim

Here's what the V6 car sounded like when we drove the pre-production and IVER cars in May. The engineers had not "fine-tuned" the exhaust and I think it sounds even a bit better now in its final form! Deeper and throatier to me.

Yes, this car has the connectivity packagage (SRJ) which includes the leather wheel and shifter. Nice addition to a 1LT.

Chevy Jim. At launch, GM employees are assigned through our Product Evaluation Program (PEP) early production units which we usually call Captured Test Fleet (CTF). If you refer to some of the photos in the St. Lous post, you can see the special sticker that denotes the car as a CTF. We then evaluate the vehicle and submit any concerns to be addressed prior to the cars going to the customer. It is essentially an early look at the first production cars before they can be shipped to dealers. But CTF is only GM employees from engineering, marketing, quality, manufacturing, etc. Not dealers.
