I went to walmart today and found one of the bigtime muscle camaro for 35 dollars their trying to get them off the shelves.

Got mine today and boy is the box HUGE! It's like 3.5 - 4 feet long. Looks amazing though.

Got my 1/6th yesterday. I opened it today and guess what.......
THE D@MN ROOF IS ALL SCRATCHED UP!!!!!!  Apparently, when UPS shipped the box, they stacked other boxes on top of it and the top of the box rubbed the roof while in transit. Yeah...it's kinda bad. I was ticked to say THE LEAST. I went back on Wal-Mart.com to see if I could order another...nope...all sold out. I took it back to the store to see if I could exchange it but they had none in stock. They claimed they would be getting more in, but couldn't tell me for sure. Needless to say, I held on to it. So...I sat there for a few minutes...what to do...what to do...and it struck me... CUSTOMIZE IT.  I'm going to pick up an airbrush set and give it a go...painted in the color that I want mine. I'm unsure now, with them becoming more difficult to find (my 2 local WalMarts had 2 displays full of them a week ago, now there are none) I don't know if I should return the one I paid $64 for.
I ordered a 2nd for $35 to give my nephew with the intention of returning the $64 one. The roof was scratched on the $35 one, but I figure my nephew will scratch it up anyway. So I'm keeping the unscratched $64 one for myself if I don't return it... Any chance these will become some kind of collectible item? |
