Excellent point you made. F body Camaro's were produced from 1967-2002 with the last Anniversary package being the 35th SS ending in 2002, along with the Camaro production itself. A reincarnation of the Camaro, a Zeta platform, came in 2010. They are like apples and oranges. One could only factualy call it a tribute, not a true anniversary model for this reason. There is no tangible connection between them other than in name only. F body, Zeta platform....same Camaro name, 8 years gap in production, no nexus in lineage.

No imagination in the new 2012 color palet. Syn Green and Aqua Blue Metalic looked good on these cars. I read that there will be a new lighter blue metalic mid 2011 production run which will replace Syn Green metalic. I know it wouldn't be a big seller but I'm liking the Plum Crazy Purple on the Challenger. I like bright colors, you can tell. :-)

The larger mirrors are most likely Euro-spec mirrors.

I would like to see GM bring back the Daytona Sunset Orange color on the Camaros! I love the glow from the sheet metal at different angles, just amazing! I think it would look GREAT on the Camaro!

I'm disappointed to see the next best color (may be the same? They look very similar) - Aqua Blue Metallic - is no longer available for 2011. I hope they bring back either ABM or Bright Blue, which I believe was only offered on the 1999 cars. Here's a photo (sorry if it's a member's car, but to their credit, it IS beautiful!!) |

I have to admit those are nice features. Nothing I would really have to jump on except maybe the rear view camera & the Navigation system if they ever decide to go for it, but yet again I know how to back my car up without hitting anything its just a nice feature.
As for Colors: Why another Black? There are already too many blacks. Change it up. The three colors I love the most are ABM, Synergy Green and White! I know alot of people hate on ABM but when I 1st laid eyes on it all the other colors quickly faded from my mind. Its an amazing color. I wouldn't trade my car for anything in the world. I hope GM lightens up and includes another blue in the color mix, but if they dont thats okay too cause it just makes mine more rare. Also its great to see GM adding these new additions and bettering the Camaro. Makes me feel good to know mine is a 2010 because it just makes it that much more special. Someday it'll really be worth something.

I never saw such a bunch of monday morning quarterbacks. "Why didn't they come back with Aqua Blue again....it looks so good" Well because they only sold 4% of that color the last time they had it! Why so many blacks and grays....Well because they represent 30+% of the sales and they wanted to freshen the Black market. Come on guys...If you want a different or unique color buy one and go get it painted and stop attacking GM for the decisions they make. Sorry for the rant but I just popped a circuit while reading this thread.

The SS is now the slowest of the three. We can still beat the Challenger R/T though. Start modding!
