Some do. Unless you put a mic in the car to SQ spec it, the only downside is you losing an inch or three of trunk space. Your primary issue is you have to take the car apart to reach them before you can remove the OEM ones. The seats and back dash go in and out easy enough, it's just time.

My entire trunk is gutted now. Only battery in the trunk now. Just made a rear seat delete to and that's what lead me to getting the lousy factory speakers out now so I don't have to remove the new rear seat delete etc.. Here is a pic of the delete cover. It's getting paint this weekend.

That's looks like more work than what it took to replace the rears.

Lol.. Sure was! But now you see why those crappy junk rear speakers gotta go before my final install of the rear seat delete.
