This is really tempting. Especially since my dealer won't accept Supplier pricing.

Did anyone order a CGM Camaro from Joe Basil? I'm #7 but ordered CGM and might move down the list.

You ever get through to Steve?

so 11 V8s and 2 V6s. If you were to order a V6, would that be produced after all the V8s are done, or whenever a V6 is available even if people in front of you haven't gotten their V8 yet?

Credit can be run without you being here I'm sure. Call/email Steve tomorrow. I agree with you coming up here just to find out one way or the other is ridiculous.

AFAIK, Chevy and each dealer have a monthly consensus in which the dealer agrees with Chevy to take "x" V8's and/or "y" V6's for the upcoming month. Then weekly constraints may further preclude a color or a trim level. So it is very possible that what would be the 3rd V6 is actually available before say, the 7th V8. At least that's my understanding.

I emailed Steve about the Hurst shifter issue. He got right back to me in just a few minutes. He told me he would call me before he submits my final order so if the shifter goes off contraint I can still get it. He hopes to get another car allocated this week, I am the 4th V8 in line with 3 V8s and 2 V6s in front of me with Steve. I am paying cash and a rough guess I will save around $3,500 with him at invoice plus. Well you also got to deduct $100 for a plane ticket and the gas home from Buffalo. It is going to be a nice 9 hour drive home that's for sure!

Glad to hear Steve's taking care of you (and others here). Of course I told him if he screws around with people here after I stuck out my you-know-what and recommended him, I have access to black suburbans...

Earlier this month Basil was allocated 3 for March, correct? Is that an extra allocation for March? Or is he talking about only expecting 1 allocation for April?

No, it is not an extra allocation. He does have 3 for March. Mine was the first one to be pulled. The second should be pulled this week.

trm0002 is correct I should have said one more camaro order pulled this week. He was not specific if it would be a v6 or V8, but with the v6s on constraint I am hoping it will be another V8 that is pulled.

No, I've been trying again for the past hour. I'll call my existing dealer in the meanwhile and give them the bad news...
