Suskam: I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Those pictures are indeed hard to look at. I hope that your insurance is kind to you and you are back on the road in no time, even though its still hard to let the old one go.

OMG, yeah I would be devastated too. I am so sorry this has happen to your baby. I don't know how I would react if this happened to me, but it would not be pretty.

I would be checking with dealers to see what your type used C is selling for...The blue book is not always correct.

NOTE: you can "dicker" with the ins compy....you do not have to accept the offer but you must have info to argue with...thus check with the dealers 200 miles plus around for true used prices...you can also argue condition...ie mint...and take the CAI off if not going to pay you for such...

what ins compy do you use...do you have a good agent to help with the claim ( they can talk to the claims folks)?
