My dad's car is a stock v6 (except for the aftermarket wheels) and we all love it. I love stock Camaros anyway, not particularly fond of the 1lt or the ls wheels

Stock is what it is. Plain Jane boring. But everyone has their own views of what they want and how much they want to spend. If you plan on keeping it forever and hoping someday it will as the 69 Camaro is, thats a hard guess to guess.

Changing anything to your car is a mod. Tinted windows, intake, exhaust, stereo, wheels. Do what makes you happy, its your car and if you want to keep it stock, then keep it stock. But ask yourself, why did you buy a Camaro? To be different, to turn heads, to be fast or because you love the car? Or all of the above?

Cars come from the factory as a starting point. No matter how good they are stock, they can always be made to better fit a persons style. Sure the Camaro looks great from the factory, but now that they have been out for a little while, it is getting to the point of "if youve seen one, youve seen them all." So I will proudly mod my car and not think twice about it. You cant enjoy it when you die so make the most of it now.

Will be molding my ZL1 when I get it, not so much for
the increase of HP. But to have the final appearance of
what I want it to look like, handle, and upgraded parts
that I want the car to have. I won't live long enough to
even worry about the cars value in 30 years from now,
so it's live and enjoy for the moment. But to also drive
with safety in mind for both yourself and others sharing
the same road as you.

It is a necessity to get rid of those nasty stock cans and make it sound like the muscle car that it is.

Why change a perfectly good performing stock vehicle? Ummmmm...... because it's a sickness!

This is the last of the totally stock 1/4 mile runs. Starting minor mods this week.

Bone stock on stock P-zero's........

half/half....performance wise, still stock. As for cosmetic, I've added a few things.

Amen. I've added the gages to my 1SS. I also have an early order. I ordered my 1SS with polished wheels, Boston accoustic and the A-6. I love it just the way it is. I don't have a race car to tinker with, I have a Harley instead, same idea though. I don't care what they come out with or if my car ever becomes a "collector's item", I have every intention of keeping mine until I leave the planet. It is my "Gran Torino" of the CE movie.

I am planning on keeping my 2SS/ RS stock. The only "mods" I have made, if you can call them that, are blacking out my bow ties, and changing the interior light to blue LEDs. While I love the crazy stuff people have done wit their cars, I have always liked to leave my cars stock.
