I used spring compressors just in case but it isn't necessary.

To the one that mentioned the dealer may not do the alignment as good as factory. - when I had mine done at the dealer this past Monday, I kept my eye on my car while they were doing it and I was totally blown away at how new technology does the alignment. It seems they put it on a lift with big solar panel looking ears mounted to each tire. And two big "ears" with flashing lasers or LEDs at the front of lift are I guess measuring the camber toe and caster degrees. Needless to say I was impressed and amazed at how hi-tech the procedure was.

I had Eibach springs put on last July and Eibach sways last month and you can't beat the look of your Camaro when lowered or handling, especially with the sways.

I just took my car to Raymond's Alignment in Plainfield, IN and had my bushings timed and I noticed an immediate difference in the ride quality after this was performed.
I heard JusticePete of PeddersUSA speak of "TIming the Bushings" and how any car that has had its suspension lowered or raised for that matter should have this done.

For $75 and an hour of my time, I have a smoother ride! I totally recommend you having this done if you've dropped it.

Sorry I missed you at the shop the other day.Timing those bushings will help the ride as you noticed and will also extend the life of the bushings.

No problem Bruce, I'll catch up with you some time soon I'm sure. The ride is so much better now. I know you sacrifice some ride comfort when lowered and mine wasn't that bad with the springs and the sways made handling so much better but since your guys timed the bushings, I love it more so now!

Thanks again!

Hey Guys, I need a little help. So The Chevy Dealer lowered the car before i purchased it. Now the wheels are getting balled from the inside. They are not giving me any information. What causes this? Any help would be much appreciated.

thank you =)

Can't say for sure but I hope they gave the car a 4 wheel alignment and timed the bushings or re****ed the bushings. This is a must whenever the car ride height is changed. Have you brought up the excessive tire wear to them and if so, did they offer a soluttion? If not, I think I'd seek a professional opinion or expertise and have the alignment done and the timing done as well. At least the basics will be done and out of the way with before you put new rubber on it.

Thank you bro. much appreciated. the dealership is trying to convince me its a simple wheel balance issue. even though its clear to see the tires are balding faster on the inside.
