If no one gets to it before me, I'll try photoshopping these black when I get home today and see how it looks.

quick question.....is there any extra protection on the bottoms from the factory or just paint?
Even though I'm not a big fan of the guards, I'm considering them since my Camy will be black.

okay, I'm not a photoshop expert. Rather than painting them black, I used the quick selection tool to select the guards, created an adjustment layer for each selection and then adjusted the levels to take out all the color. If anyone knows a better way I'm ready to learn. I don't know, maybe I made them too black?

yea, but it gives the idea that they'd disappear like coolman suggests.

The black may work. It would be nice to see on a yellow, red, etc. |

That should be what you need. I don't have photoshop on this PC otherwise I'd give it a try. |

I have no idea why people think the mudflaps look bad or like an LTD. The only cars I think of when I see mudflaps are Camaros and TransAms from the 70's which I loved. I haven't even gotten my Camaro yet so I sit out in the sun and hold my orange mudflaps and admire the colour and sparkle and dream of the day when my car gets here and they can protect it from rocks and stuff.
And I definitely don't know why people think black ones would look better or be less noticeable. Hopefully this photoshop will at least put that theory to bed. ![]() ![]()

I think this is the look I was thinking of but yeah it's mostly in front of the wheel. But it reminds me of the new ones.
