I just tried to move mine to the drivers side but the bracket I made didn't work out. I put it back and added a zip tie around the hoses, bar and ground strap. I hope nothing happens till this is resolved.
I sure could use that bracket that bolts to the orig airbox stud.
Is this for sale?

For all who want a bracket right now, I picked up an L bracket from Home Depot for a couple of bucks. I'm using it until I make up something nicer.

That looks like the same bracket I used except I drilled another hole to utilize the hole behind the stud installed a bolt and now I have a 2 bolt connection for an even better set up.

Wow you took the long way with the hoses, I was going right under the throttle body.

Good idea! That's what my plan is for the bracket I'm going to make.

I didn't want to go under the throttle body as I was a little worried about it staying out of the belt and pulleys. Also, I installed a check valve in the line so I wanted to have easy access to it. If you go under the TB, post up some pics so we can see how.

Finally got it right. Zip tie right behind the throttle body plug, kept the hoses tight at the bend so they're not going anywhere. I couldn't turn the can fittings anymore, I'd rather they face the motor. Now I'd like to get a decent bracket but this will do for now.

I like to keep the can lower than any point in the hose routing. Then allow the hose a to climp a gradually to the end. It probably doesnt matter but I don't like the idea of pooling.

Yes, i had to put a bend in the bracket to make it clear other items in that area. Maybe 30 degrees or so.. Worked great after that.

Thanks for that idea. Where do we get that L bracket??

The OEM metric screw was replaced with a 5/16"-12 x 1" sourced from McMaster-Carr, P/N 93880A583.

All,
We brought a 2010 LS3 Camaro in the shop yesterday and we went through a thorough inspection and evaluation of our current Catch Can mounting bracket and aluminum shaft. On the 10mm mounting stud in question, our Camaro had two nuts that sandwiched the grounding strap as pictured below:

Using a 15mm socket, the 10mm (#1) Hex Nut can be removed. (Keep this Nut for use later)
Next, using the same 15mm socket, we removed the Hex threaded stud (#2) show below: (this threaded Hex Stud will be replaced) Shown Below:

We feel the quickest and easiest option is to replace this Hex Stud with a much higher grade 14.9 threaded Stud.

Finally, when installed in the engine block with the grounding wire and hex nut (#1) attached, there will be about 3/4” of thread remaining. See picture:

We feel this is the simplest, most durable solution that would be an easy modification for everyone. We would supply the Higher Strength and Grade Steel threaded stud, free of charge.

As an alternate mounting solution, OPTION B, you could also mount your Catch Can to the belt tensioner using the existing 10mm threaded hex head bolt and our "L" shaped bracket that we have available for $9.90. This set-up is shown below. Your existing hoses will be long enough so the installation should also be very easy.

If you are interested in this mounting option, the "L" shaped bracket can be purchased through this link:

http://www.eliteengineeringusa.com/C..._B_option.html

As previously stated, we feel very confident that the first option will is the easiest way to go.

PLEASE SEND ME A PM WITH YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS AND WE'LL GET THE REPLACEMENT SHIPPED.

I really hope this helps.

Thanks for a couple of solutions. Any chance I could get both of those solutions shipped out to me? Let me know how.
