Livermore has a ton of vineyards and the drive up to Napa is really scenic. Just some ideas.
we discussed doing a trip to napa for wine tasting with a poker run. I've been to Del Valley before; i def think we should try and plan a bbq and a cruise after?

Wine tasting was fun the last time we went, but traffic was a nightmare, and so was parking. The castello is a great place for a stop though. They also make some of my favorite wines there.

I don't think I'll be able to make this one as I'll be with family that day and can't get away.

I drove for about 8 hours today taking different routes and roads and will post up my findings/opinions on all the roads, conditions, ect. All I will say for now is Skaggs Road is pretty crazy, I passed 2 accidents today on it.

Part of it was actually really nice and wide, it's only like the second half that is a one lane chewed up road, that's where the accidents were.

From this last weekend, My favorite part was Lucas Valley Rd. Good road, plenty of turnouts for slower vehicles, fun curves. I deff recommend this road for anyone looking for a fun cruise.

Skaggs Springs was also really fun. Like others have said there are about 10 miles of really good road before the 1 lane chewed up road. Still I would say its a bucket list road for everyone to try out. Just a warning there was a lot of Red Road Salt on some areas, may want to wait for summer if that bothers you. Here is a pic that sums up the bad parts of Skaggs lol.

I voted for Sacramento, Marsh Creek also would be cool. I live a 1/2 mile from Marsh Creek so I would have no excuse not to go.

Ok - starting to get excited about this cruise as well - usually takes me a while to warm up . Will hopefully have the ATAK system installed by then since I was envying someone else at the last cruise who had a great sounding car and my SS was sounding so "lame" - lol!
