The IOM w CGM stripes looks 1000 times better than the Silver with the ground effects and stuff. The silver just doesn't do it for me. I don't like the wheels, effects, and the stripes look too matte. They just don't flow well with that silver car. I'm wondering how the CGM with black rallies will look? That IOM car was at Team Chevy in Alpharetta for a couple days, or rather an almost identical model. Me and some co workers went down and checked it out. We got to sit in it and I shifted through the gears while making vroom noises. Could not notice anything with the stripes, but there is not a very definitive line down the middle of the hood so it could probably be shifted by pics, though probably hard to place as well. Friggin amazing ride, can't wait to see more. After getting a closer look at a production model I'm ever more excited, the interior with the orange seats was killer, nice short tight shifts, seats felt great. Inside the color was very orange, but when I saw it outside at dusk it looked more red than orange.

After closer examination a few things I wasn't expecting were; factory "headers", big buckets but even less leg room in the back than previous models, large trunk but tiny lid (small hole to put big things through), clean engine bay (definately a lot in there but you can see the ground through the bay) but huge water pump, interior was even classier than I though, Definitely almost time for a new set of tires on it already

Unfortunately I was too busy drooling and didn't get any pictures.

*Edit* After looking at the pics again its NOT the same car! It was identical but with a sunroof!

I like the car with the side stripes and I like the GFX , but for 2k they need to be painted, at least have an option for it, and they need to have matching tips for the exhaust outlets! So close, yet so far. Like the wheels as well, but again for the price (especially as an upgrade) I personally don't like them that much.

Thanks for that info! I agree with you that the color has a slight red look to it even though it is orange. A very cool color indeed!

I dont think that is the complete hockey and hood package

There should be a black panel on the rear in between the tail lights....i think.

that's a different car... I can promise you that the IOM car that is in these pictures is an automatic car

See post edit, the car there had a sun roof as well. Otherwise identical, IOM w. CGM stripes, orange seats 2SS RS etc etc..

It IS the same car that was in the pics in the Georgia Training post.

not sure about the ground effects ,but i do like the front lip. the rest of the package ummmmm. I will wait to see what the aftermarket offers.

I haven't seen MS wheels in person. But I'm willing to bet those pics of them on the IOM car are the best representation of how they really look. Makes me very glad that I'm just keep those on my order.

i just think these look silly with that 1/4 inch gap in them. this is the second time we have them like this. maybe there is something wrong with the vinyl decals from the factory?

Seems to me it's still just an install issue. If they had placed them closer to the gaps there wouldn't be any silver showing through them and they seem like if they were closer they'd still line up top/bottom of the stripe

Fullfilling another request...white stripes on the side view. Again, you'd think white stripes would be easy, but they want to overexpose or go the other way and look like light gray or like they're just really dirty. Regardless, I hope this gives you an idea of what it might look like.
